Hi guys
I have a 2003 l322 v8 petrol range rover.
My abs unit is faulty and was taken off by a garage and sent away to be reconned but was sent back saying un repairable at a cost of £75, symptoms are abs light on power steering gone heavy , speedo stopped , light on and brakes gone hard so I'm looking for a second hand one as . My question is what years are compatible with mine the number on mine is 0 265 225 059 . And has anyone got an idea on where to get one .

I got my replacement from ebizzle...about £260, and then had to be coded to the car by an Indy LR specialist...

They suffer heat issues in their location above the exhaust manifold....search my threads as I had this issue with mine last year, I did some research on the issue and posted some comments on here about it all.
 
Thanks for that ,was that complete with the ecu and do you have a contact number or link for them
 
Mine was just the ECU itself...

Bought on ebizzle, but was a private sale and not a trader so doubt he would have any more.....keep searching they do crop up.

The fault seems to be the soldering on the very very fine wires inside, well at least it was on mine....search for my thread about it, I have a video of the inside of my old one to show what the problem was.

I just had a replacement unit fitted ( second hand) and the abs light is still on ,the numbers on both units are 0265950056 but on the barcode label there are 6 numbers that are before that number which are different is that going to make a difference or could it be the new unit if faulty

in answer to previous question regarding (has the vehicle been connected to diagnostic software) yes it has and unfortunately has no comms with abs module. it wil communicate with all other modules, what i am trying to work out is, as there are slight variants in the part numbers, is it that this module is not compatible or is it a faulty module. are these first 6 digits to do with the ecu protocol, or moulding numbers? casting numbers?????????
 
Not having a lot of joy with this pump everyone I buy has to go back with a problem,I've just been told that one off a 2005 0265225059 will fit mine which is a 2003 0265950056 can anyone confirm this as I'm sick of wasting money sending them back
