Hiya Chaps,
been lurking a while now, but I got some further questions !
my ABS TC & HDC lights are on again. .....here's the story...oh, it's a disco 2 TD5,
had a mate who works for LR, to check the fault codes, rear right ABS sensor gap too large,
so replaced the sensor, cleared the lights, and it went for about 30 miles, and lights came back on, with the dings !.
went back to see my mate, and he said it could be the sensor ring, inside the hub, as he's seen this before. catch being, need a replacement hub.
So, got a new hub and sensor, and had it fitted, run for about 30 miles, and back on the lights came.
I'm going to call back down this evening, and I'll bet that the T4 says - rear right senor air gap too large !!!
Anyways, anyone had this exact problem before ?, I'll get back to you later.
btw, the diff oil ( rear right side) was looking slightly milky (just something I noticed, and didn't say anything about !)
