Hi
The ABS, traction control and hill decent lights have started to come on (all together) whilst driving. They stay on until I turn the ignition off and then if I start up again, they are gone...until sometime later whilst driving.
Doesn't coincide with applying brakes...is it a faulty ABS sensor? Do these lights turn red if its a real problem?

Its a very common problem, do a search for the 3 amigos theres lots to read.

Thank you.....didn't realise it had the quirky nick-name.. have found it better in the search now......but JESUS!!!!!!! Where do you start??? everything seems possible from scrap the car to a simple flat tyre:):)

I am assuming from most posts that just ignoring it is also an option..think I will do that for now as I have an aversion (or more acurately my bank balance has an aversion) to giving it to a garage saying " can you plug it in and find this fault"....seems to be a license to print money

I can just quote The Mad Hat Man on this : "I ****in give up  :frusty:".... and this one is more common than the alternator sh*t.

The only reason i gave that link is because although i know a lot of people have used that fix on this site, i havent seen such a detailed walk through for it on here. I was only trying to help the guy out and didnt mean to offend anyone

As the fault is intermittent (cos the lights always re-set if the ignition is turned off then on), am I right to assume that the fault may actually only last a few seconds and though the lights stay on, its quite likely the ABS will still operate if required? (I know that once the lights come on, they won't re-set even if the fault disappears) I am not bothered about HD which I never use and if I need TC in a muddy field with the horse box, I can just reset the ignition.
