Remove rubber cover. Apply plenty of Easit and allow to soak. Put a Jubilee clip around the sensor. Don't over tighten. Apply more Easit, grip jubilee clip with a pair of pipe grips using as little force as is needed, gently twist sensor back and forth to loosen it. Do this gently applying Easit as needed until it is free.
No Easit is a penetrating fluid. WD40 is a water dispersant. It is not made to penetrate and loosen rust, Easit is.

Maybe it is, but both will be better than a water displacer at freeing rusted components.
