I did the paperclip test to read faults on my ABS.
First fault code too large an air gap front right.
Reached round behind the wheel, pushed it down, light remained on.
Second fault code sensor or wiring.
Assumed the sensor was broken, bought a new one for £16 which I thought was a good price. Went to have a look at how to change it, unplugged sensor in engine bay, without even thinking wiped the connection with my thumb, plugged it back in as I was going to change it another day.
Drove off, light went out as it should, fault cleared.
Now I have a spare just in case.
So make sure the plug is clean and plugged in properly before you buy a replacement.
