is it possible to disconnect the power to the abs and revert back to normal brakes, and if so what do you have to disconnect, ps forgot to say its a 300tdi disco
You can remove the fuse for it and that way you can be sure that it's disabled. Check your handbook for detailed info on which fuse to remove. Sometimes the diagram on the fusebox lid isn't very informative. Though I'm guessing ABS would be clearly marked. That said, I'd be more inclined to get it fixed asap.
i know it a mot failure ect,, the brakes have started to judder ocassionally and make a funny row, then it goes away, somethings not right, thats why i want to disconnect the abs just to see if thats the problem
