Oops! In changing the air filter on my Defender td5 2006 I disconnected the AAP Sensor via the multiplug; only after reviewing the workshop manual did I see the note cautioning me not to do this...instead it says you're supposed to unscrew the AAP sensor from the filter assembly and remove the 'O' ring, etc. Have I done damage I'm not aware of? What are the consequences of disonnecting it via the multiplug? Ten years solitary on Robben Island?

Any info would be much appreciated

Your manual is telling you porkies!!!!

It wont do any harm to pull ANY plug off as long as the ignition is off.

I always unplug it to change the air filter.
