Hi,
my name is Bernd and I own my very first Defender since May 2008. So far I drove 138Tkm = 86Kmi. I'm not the mud type of Landy user but prefere to travel and to get back home without any broken part, which is a challenge from time to time.
I started to write about my trips and equipment testing for the German Allradler magazine, which is published 4 times/year.
You can find my tracks in wikiloc and in case you're interrested in my German language blog please feel free to visit it.
Based on my travel reports I was hired as a tour guide in 2014 for a Cornwall & Devon tour and this summer I'll guide a group to Iceland in Juli/August on behalf of weiterweg.de, setting up a camp in Sweden "The project" from this summer onwards.
I may go to Scotland in 2016 with a private group and interrested in green laning tips and nice remote locations as I can't rely anymore on my 4 weeks clockwise motorcyle tour: too long time ago.
Here in Germany I'm active in the forum called Landyfriends.net and we meet every 2nd Friday of the month in Duesseldorf-Urdenbach. In case anybody of you is here during such a Friday you're very much welcome.
Best regards,
Bernd
