Morning all,,,, hope alls well ,,, calling on all your immense knowledge to help me out,,
I have a 51 plate, petrol Freelander & have got a few little niggles & any advice would be appreciated.. thanks in advance
1) Rear window wiper & washer does not work,,
2) Rear window does not go up when closing door,, need to use key or switch on console,,
3) Windscreen wipers stop halfway across on intermitent,,

Rear wash wipe does not work as the ecu is stopping it due to the rear window not being calibrated.
Unplug negative battery, wait 5 mins, put back on. Rear window should drop. Put ignition to position 2, press up (and hold) on dash button. This should do it. If it beeps 4 times and drops, then switch off, open close rear door and try again. Sometimes you have to start the engine to make it work!

My 04 had the same issue with the front wipers and it cleared by it'self after a week or two of winter rain. The car was laid up for a while before I bought it.
