I bought a 2004 V8 last Saturday, 51K on the clock, LPG of course!

Not bad condition but I always feel a little aware with a private buy.

Spent the day in the Disco yesterday, lots of London traffic, plenty of time to compare it with past earlier Disco 2s that I've owned.

No blinds on the sun roofs?
Mirror hasn't a compass?

Strange, as it's a facelift ES Premium with a Formica dash

Any ideas if this is correct?

Also, when you raise the rear suspension, it seems to not lift the full 40mm and the warning light keeps flashing forever on the dash. This should stop flashing when it's raised.

I suspect a problem but what?

Any ideas guys?

Out of interest, I am used to RV8s, my other car is a 99 TVR Chimaera 5.5.

There may be some pinholes in the air bags that are covered by the roll in normal use, and get uncovered when the bag raises. Spray some soapy water on them and see.

Interesting, a case of LR saving money then!

I noticed a few compass mirrors on fleabay, are they a straight fit?

Should be. There's a 2-pole plug and green-black plus black cables, that's the switched supply for the compass mirror behind the roof trim etc etc at the front. Take out the interior light and the map pocket trim and you'll see it.
