Hi,

I am still working through the things I've inherited with this lovely motor and I was hoping those with previous would have some knowledge that could be imparted about the following points:

CD Changer.jpg

There seems to be a disk locked in the shuttle, I cannot see a way of extracting it and I am unsure if there is actually any power going to it. The head unit doesn't appear to support a CD player that I can see but it does have a tape deck hidden behind the facia which still works.

Fuses:

Electrics are definitely not my bag but the number of wires that look like they are inserted instead of fuses are concerning me somewhat. I've just noticed them when I was looking over the CD player issue above.

Air Filter:

So I have this instead of the standard filter in a plastic housing, I would like peoples thoughts on replacing stock or is it ok to keep as is? Also beneath the filter you can see a small white plug (also in adjacent picture) anyone know what that is and am I missing something?

I look forward to your help in understanding the next few jobs rectifying these :p

Fit a standard filter. If that is a filter that has to be oiled, it will knacker the MAF.
