Not sure if anyone will be able to help but it is worth a try.
I have a 1972 Series 3 Land Rover 109.
I have been doing a bit of research about it and found out that it was originally registered in York (As this is my home city it fascinates me more and as I also bought it from someone outside of York). But I was just wondering if anyone could help me with some more information. It has evidence of being originally painted orange. I have been told by a relative that it may have been owned by an electrical company. I just wondered if anyone could confirm this. I am wanting to restore it and I thought to do a true restoration it would have to be in the original colour if the orange was its true original colour any info/help/picture would be truly welcomed.
