Hello all from a bit of an old fa.... umm. fogey. Having just got hold of a modern Landy(well one with coil springs anyway) my better half would really like to do something other than drive on tarmac. I first got into green laning in the 1980s when I had the world's scabbiest Series 3, the appearance of which I cared less than a rat's ass about. Since then I've had quite a long break from things and own 2 Landys neither of which I'm inclined to trash. OK the Series 2a is going to have to go to make room for a proper off- roader one day but for now we are going to be going out in my prized 110 V8 CSW. I know how to read an OS map and I have Memorymap as well. My family come from Devizes are so I'd really like to go for a gentle "introduce the missus to it stroll" which will give ample opportunity to get the CSW dirty but won't do anything that takes longer than an hour or two to repair on Salisbury plain. Am I barking up the wrong tree here or is it worth studying the maps on this one and starting to plot and bash?
