Anyone know if you can use 70w bulbs in a 97 Mk1 tdi, current ones are 55w, and not that bright.

my tdi only has rear side lights on the bumper not in the side pods but has the right bulbs in does anyone know why this should be

Ours is the same. Brake lights in the pods, indicators and side lights in the rear bumper!
