Hello All
I fancy the above car, but the two models i have looked at are both VM engines and not the 200 tdi which i am told is much better. I want the rangie for a 2nd car, to do some green laning and try some off roading.

Should i avoid the VM engine models ?

What price for 100k mile cars (both have good bodies and history)

Any views, greatly appreciated
Regards, Rick

I have a VM engined RR (1990) and its fine but the majority of people say the Tdi is better, especially the 300 Tdi. They had one drawback for me though and it this they both use computerised engine management systems. My VM 2.5 turbo loves the vegetable oil I use to run it on. Hos does 50p per litre sound, including duty.
