Hi there,

I've had a look online and can't find a clear answer. I basically have issues with the electrical fan on the heater box. I wanted to know if it was safe to link out the heater matrix with a piece of short pipe for a couple of days while I have the matrix and fan unit in the workshop for a clean up and repair.

Would it be safe to drive with the matrix replace with a short piece of metalic pipe?

No problem at all - it's the same as turning the heat down.

Yeah its fine I drove my landy for several weeks with matrix by passed
