I recently purchased a full tilt and hoop stick set for my 90 (1997), the supplier didn't provide any fitting instructions, and most of the nuts n bolts were missing, but I could work it out for myself, or so I thought!!!

I cannot work out how to fix the front of the canvas. I have fixed the three straps each side, over the doors, however I can't work out how the front is fixed, above the windscreen. There is a bar which I have bolted to the top of the wind screen, and small two spring handles - god knows where these are meant to go.

Can anyone shed some light on how this is fitted, as it is doing my head in???

Have a look at the exmoor trim site - it may help. On my early 90 the front of the tilt is trapped under the fixing bar so yo have to do this first with the tilt upside down on the bonnet

yep the front of it raps under the front bar and the little handles twist upwards ta hold it in place .....

Sorted! - Simple when you look at it the right way up.
