hi i have a 1985 90 i got it off a friend as a cat c stolen/recovered i have looked into it and it has to have a vic check but there is a problem with that i dont have the log book thats with the dvla and i cant find a chassis number stamped into the chassis but the plate is still there on top of the servo can any body help?

chassis number should be O/S front chassis leg just before front bumber on the side of the chassis. look in front of the wheel under wheel arch if thats any help
