Does any one know the rough weight of a 88inch safari roof.
Think of how I might take it off when summer returns.

Took mine off a couple of years ago easy one man lift, then take sides off

Yeah, you can do it on your own, making sure it 'free' all the way around before you stand inside and try to lift it ...

I found it easier to face the rear and walk slowly with the weight balanced across my shoulders ...

Its more about balance - I took off and put on a LWB on my own, key is haveing trestles ready and some planks of wood, then you can slide it. Its not heavy but its easy to overbalance if you have't planned it well and got your lay down area ready. Undo all the bolts, lift one end up at a time, then put planks across otherwise it will fall in.
