I haven't done much off roading except for some light green laning and a pay and play day a while back. So was thinking about doing one the LRO Adventure club 4x4 training days held at rockingham castle to help me learn how to get the best out of my 90. http://www.lroac.com/training-days.htm

Just wondered if anyone here has done and if it's worthwhile?

cheers.

I don't know about the ones you mention, but I'd recommend Yorkshire Treks ...

I recently assisted a training day for Manchester 4x4 club, giving a talk about Glass and what we do, and a demonstration on laptop and tablet of Trailwise and how we use it with Memory Map (or other mapping software). 12 people, split into three groups of four, one, in 'the classroom' listening to me, one winch training, the last group driving skills, all on an off-road course at Askham Bryan near York. I believe they can tailor courses or treks to suit groups, or if you call them you may be able to join in a pre-booked training day .. they had a couple join the training day, about to go to Morocco, who'd never even had a 4x4 at all before yet were leaving the following week!

Tell them Paul, the South Yorkshire Glass rep, recommended them to you .. ;)
