Hi everybody, I've got a code coming up saying that I've got a failed cam position sensor. I'm going to take it out and check everything, but just in case, does anyone know where I can get a replacement without having to sell the house?

Cheers

Before you condemn the sensor,or even try removing it,just unplug it and check connections - they can and do corrode/fail.Just for your info the plug/socket is the same as the EAS height sensor ones. Also dont be afraid to buy secondhand if it has failed, they rarely go wrong.

Thanks for that, I'm not averse to second hand parts I just can't find anywhere selling them. Unfortunately, I've had springs fitted so I've sold all of the EAS parts, oops. Thanks for the advice though, I'll disconnect clean and check the contacts and give it another go.

Worth checking the crank sensor too...crank sensor issues can throw up a cam sensor error!
