Hi guys. I have a 4.6 Rover V8 out of a Rangerover which was fitted to an auto box which i want to mate to a V8 R380 originally out of a disco. Ordered a clutch for the V8 and it came with the release bearing built into the clutch pressure plate which is obviosuly different from the Disco R380 setup which has a seperate release bearing. My qustion is what is the easiest way to resolve this issue? Can the clutch fork in the R380 be changed so it will work with the rangy clutch or will i have to get a clutch for a 3.5 lump for a disco and use that? Cheers Pete

Not 100% as I'm doing a v8 conversion on my fender soon and trying to figure out gearboxes needed, but would have thought you would need a disco v8 clutch to fit disco r380 sure some one will be along soon to clarify thou

yer that is the route ive gone down. Engine has an automatic flywheel so now trying to find a manual one. Not having much luck. :(
