I would suggest getting an old one or maybe a new one. I think 4.6 conrods are forged anyway. But people do swap conrods between 4 l and 4.6 (vice versa) to increase cr

No I meant use the con rod to take measurements to produce a spec. I simply would not trust anything written in a manual.i may cross reference it but trust me several specs are not right in the land Rover v8 manual re crankpin sizes.
