After the xmas from hell, family berevement, thrown my back out, EAS grief, spitting out rear brake pads, cancelled ferries back home and now a grinding alternator.
4.6 petrol V8's are not very popular in Ireland so after a five hour round trip to get one I've read up on its replacement which sounds straight forward enough but I've a stumbling block: the belt tensioner!
This is probably the stupidest request yet but can anyone describe the loosening/slackening of the tensioner before I get stuck in tomorrow?
I cannot express my gratitude enough if anyone can help, I just seriously want to put the last two weeks behind me, get back home and put all this sh!t behind me!
Many thanks in advance
