Hi guys know its probably been done to death, but done a search and can not find a match for my needs.

Have 4.2SC running LPG anyone got recommendations for plugs?

It hasn't been done because fuelling the jag aj v8 with LPG is a no no unfortunately, though flashlube will delay the destruction of your heads a little

Your missing my point already have LPG and there is no issue if you set it up properly and run part petrol all the time plus flashlube.

What I want to know what plugs people are using, as I need to change them.

You need a strong early spark with lpg. From worst to best: platinum, iridium, copper, silver.

It would be beneficial to have owner info on here regarding LPG use with the jag v8. Seems to be that vsr will destroy factory heads within 60,000 miles. Maybe you could start a thread

So you think silver plugs are the best????

As for LPG you can avoid VSR with the right setup, the jag heads are liable to VSR even on petrol, if you have the right LPG system and setup you can make the VSR no worse than what it is on petrol. I have spent a lot of time and done a lot of research into it.

Silver is the best conductor, but bloody expensive. Copper is best cost effective compromise, and why the national grid uses it but will probably last half as long as iridium or platinum
