Might be some bits on Youmagine ? They're definitely very handy for the DIY'er and restorer. Shame I have no space for a printer!

Found on Thingiverse some useful files for commonly broken bits such as door knobs and door card pins that are easy to print with a 3D printer. Does anyone know of any other files for other parts around - it would be nice if LandyZone could become a repository for 3D printer part files - it's gonna be the future

Quite agree about 3D printing being part of the future for replicating now defunct parts.

No idea where you might find stuff but I suppose you could glue stuff back together and 3D scan it into the computer that would create the file?
