I have a D90 with a lift and 35 inch tires. It’s rubbing on the control arms. Has anyone had this issue before? Using wheel spacers do the trick to get it to stop? Thanks for your help.

Like Neilly says you need to adjust the lock stops on the swivels, right swivel does left lock & vice versa. Book says you should have about 20mm between tyre and arm because tyre can flex.

Once the lock stops have been adjusted correctly the steering lock may be reduced. At this point you need to consider the off set of the wheels. to increase the steering lock again you need to increase the wheel offset. This can be done by using deep dish wheels or considering spacers although both of these option come with the potential for other problems. Start by correctly adjusting the steering stops and see how it then drives.
