Hi guys I am looking for some ideas for a Land Rover enthusiasts special Birthday.

Heres a pic of "Grace" (Defender 90, G Reg) for an idea of what parts have already gone on. If anyone has any ideas that would be great

Dont have a specific price in mind so all ideas welcome.

Hmm. I always struggle with this. Unless you know his tastes very very well I would say do not buy anything that bolts/welds directly to the car...because if you buy something he doesn't *quite* like he is likely to bolt it on not to upset you, but will eventually take it off, or it will *ahem* break when he thinks you have forgotton about it.

My suggestions....recovery equipment - i.e hi-lift jack, rope, strops, that kind of stuff if he has not got it.

Land Rover T-shirt
Land Rover Wallet (Haynes do nice stuff, as well as keyrings etc)
Workshop Manual (not Haynes)
A genuine LR Service kit (leads, etc)

Does he do much off-road? If not perhaps you could buy him a day somewhere to go and play in the landy

Thanks for all the genuine answers, some good ideas there, he has asked for Land Rover stuff so I know he wants some but I didnt wanna just give him the money to buy something and have little to do with his 30th birthday present! Will have a look around n see what I can do. Manuals and recovery stuff sounds good and a few Land Rover fan things should do it! Might look into a spare wheel too.

A nice tidy Landy he has there, what's the interior like? Worth getting some nice interior upgrades from that posh/expensive place ( i forget the name ), seats, steering wheel etc.

Given the well kept outside, i imagine it's nice n tidy inside too, but you never know
