As always the question has be asked before in the Forums, so search and you shall findI seem to be plauged by electrical problems at the moment now the Intermediate wipe stops at full up sweep but normal and fast work ok but stops wipers moving when turned off and not returning to park position.this has happened suddenly without any symptoms fix or fubar.
Interesting to see what the outcome will be with that, but why not just lift the arm with the blade attached of the screen, much the same and without the need for a spanner or mucking about fitting the arms back on the correct splineTry taking the wiper arm off and let the motor go through its full cycle. Then refit the arm and see what happens.
The symptom of a failed park switch it seems.Ok tried the with the wipers folded up off the screen on intermediate went to full up and stopped turned off wipe and on again wipers moved halfway down the screen and stopped again put wipers back on glass now it only moves about halfway across the screen up or down on intermediate with each cycle of the switch.
If you handy then yes, I never had to go there with a Land Rover but the cover is held with 2 or 3 screws/nuts but as there’s no replacement parts available and the course is a worn part, usually the electrical switch contacts, I’d be inclined to source a s/h replacement. Is there any chance of pulling it apart to fix or will I destroy it trying
