Hi to all
I have a noise fom my turbo any ideas??
The landy runs fine ,no smoke (well apart from the normal start up cloud)
when Im pottering about the turbo whistles normally but with my boot down it goes from a whistle to a sqweel like the noise from a fan belt on an old Escort on a cold damp morning.
any ideas as to where to look and to look for?
Thanks Steve

First guess is worn bearings and/or impellor touching the case.

Thanks For the reply Dave
I had a good route around and discoverd a slight split in the top intercooler rubber pipe. I orderd up a set of silicone turbo pipes and replaced them all tonight. Sounds just perfect now!!
I replaced them thinking that maybe the other pipes would be worn , but they where all good apart from the top front!
So all done and not to expensive :)
