hi all again, i have 300tdi discovery and went out this morning to find my brake pedal keeps going soft ie spongy and low to the floor, then when i parked up my drivers wheel had smoke coming from the shaft in the middle of the wheel and on the inner side by the swivel ball, i know i need to change the bearing etc but never had one do this, oh and now and then it tries to pull me across the road lol, any help.

Probably the heat is boiling the brake fluid.

hard to know mate, its like the brakes are binding but i know they arnt

Air in brake system. Bleed it and then check maybe caliper . After that check bearings . Beware if its pulling,
