I wrecked my 300tdi Disco in a ford this winter so need a replacement engine.

Can anyone recommend a supplier in the Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire area ideally but nationally and delivered obviously no problem (would be good to hear it running).

I've looked at Turner Engineering and laughed (student budget) but also don't want to drop an engine in that is going to cause issues at the other end of the scale.

Primarily looking for good recommendations and as much as I'd like to put a v8 diesel in it deffo needs to be a 300tdi at the moment.

v8 diesel will sound better

ebay or gumtree or your local forum as there is always some one breaking them, 300tdi or 200 for £300upwards sometimes cheaper, you can have one out and one in in 2 1/2 hours but if its your first time do a whole weekend and take your time.

got mine from breakeryard online think just put your parts request on and contact details, opt for email only otherwise your phone won't stop ringing. failing that there is a guy called richard in north wales that charges £150 for an engine plus delivery. i'll pm you his number
