Hey Gents,

Been a while as i sold my td5...

rejoined the Disco club with a 300tdi again.

The drivers side rear trailing arm snapped on me whilst green laning.

Thankfully was only a mile from home so nursed her home.

Ordered replacement parts, removed all old rusty stuff.
I am now struggling to fit the new arm, there's not enough space to get the arm in place?
I have tried jacking up the back, front and middle to give me some room but too no success.

Any pointers for opening up this gap on a clearly twisted body so so can get this arm in place?

Thanks

Nothing really to show, if i put the through bolt through at the rear then there isn't enough room to get the threaded bar end through the mount.
And if i push the threaded bar end into place first I can't get the holes to line up at the rear end for the through bolt.

Lol sorry for the late reply.

Ratchet strap and blocks of wood to chock everything and try and keep things square got the job done!

Now i remember why i got rid of my last disco lol

Thanks for the advice
