my m erg 300 tdi boot door is catching rear bumper when opening and closing can somebody please tell me how to fix this problem.thanks

have a look underneith the rear bumper Paul. you will probly find that where the two big rubber mountins are, that hold up the floor, on the chassis the'll have rotted away .

new rear x-member fixes it if its done correctly

Unless yer lucky and its just the rear door hinges worn .

helps if yer take the spare wheel off the door

yes looked under rear and x-member is rotten at mounts.is this a job for a diyer.thanks

and a new boot floor while yer at it
