I am after a discovery to tow a 1300KG Caravan etheir a late 300tdi or discovery 2 td5 that may need some welding ect is the 300tdi a better buy problem wise

I went for the Defender 300tdi on the basis that it has less electrickery to play up..

Td5 auto is awesome tow motor and I will admit electrickery wise they're a bit more complicated but chipped and tuned they'll pull a house down.
