When it rains my lights come on and won't turn off. Pulled stork & every relay I could find and they still stayed on. I removed the fuses and they went off but now work perfectly on the switch. Anyone else experienced this before? I thought once the fuses were removed they'd be no power to the headlights. I'm sure this car is haunted lol.

My crystal ball is off at the menders this wek, but I can tell you that 300tdi engines have fuck all to do with the lights ... and that they were fitted to several different cars.

Fink this fred needs moovin to one on electricals.
Or on the vehicle the 300 tdi is driving/powerin!

Ah right, it's a discovery 1. How do I move the thread?
I dunno so I'd just start another thread in the Discovery part of the forum. You'll get answers there hopefully.
are you absolutely sure it was the right fuse?
Is there any chance there is a short between something like the sidelight wires or even the main beam wires?
Disco 1 headlight bulb holders rot and break for a past time, I changed mine for ceramic ones ages ago.
Best of luck!

I'll start a thread over there. Yeah was the right fuses and the headlights went out as soon as I pulled them.
