Hi guys. I changed my gearbox oil today and it went surprisingly well, so I thought I would share a few tips with you. I used MTF 94 oil and it took approximately 2.3 litres to fill the box. Tip 1. Remove the filler plug before the drain plug, as you will be buggered if you find out that it is stuck after you have drained the oil out. Tip 2. When refilling the box, get yourself a metre length of hosepipe. Stick one end into the filler hole and you will find that the other end fits nicely onto the long spout of the 1litre oil bottle. Then squeeze the bottle so that the oil is squirted up the hosepipe into the gearbox. Once it starts dribbling out of the hole, quickly pop your plug back in. Jobs a goodun........

I have a half-litre syringe, with hose, for filling mine. Was only a few quid from a well-known web shop.

Good point on the sequence though. You'll only forget once.
