My Disco is up for SOLD
, It will not be available for a week or two as I am waiting for my number plate to be transferred off it so it does not come with the plate shown.
1997 Discovery 300tdi ES Automatic
150,000 miles with full history including all the old MOT's
I am in my 5th year of ownership and this has been my daily drive.
7 seat leather interior with genuine over-mats and rubber mats as well.
Flew through the last MOT with no advisories expires August 2015
Very extensive service history with a massive file of receipts and bills
All the electric windows work as do both sunroofs
Stainless Steel Bull bar with 8” spot lights wired into main beam.
Tinted windows with blinds to all the rear and sunroofs
Upgraded Headlamp bulbs so you can actually see.
CB Radio fitted
All of the following has been replaced in my ownership:
Cam Belt and pulleys etc (last year)
Drive belt tensioner
Glow plugs
Brake light switch
Heated front screen
Solid Steering bars fitted
Gaz Steering Damper
Head gasket replaced
Vacuum pump
EGR blanking kit
Lift pump (Delphi)
Silicone hoses (Blue)
PAS Steering pump
Alternator (new last week)
Light bar with 4 LED spot lights
Battery
Decat sport exhaust with just rear silencer box
New rear arches
30mm concentric alloy wheel spacers (the expensive ones)
Tyres Insa Dakar 235/85/R16 all with good tread
2” lift kit
Rear light guards on bumper and rear lights
Wide angle front prop shaft
Diff guards
200Tdi rear prop shaft conversion so no rubber donut
A frame ball joint and all the rear end is polybushed (front end polybushes and new bolts supplied but not fitted)
Front wheel bearings and new stub axles
Discs and pads all round
Rear drop links and 2” spacers on anti-roll bar
Extended poly bump stops
Rear callipers
Tree sliders
Southdown snorkel
Wind deflectors (tinted)
Rear work lights (need wiring up)
Waxoiled last year
All diff and transfer box oils changed recently
Receipts for all of the above parts provided
Bad points not many:
Bit of dampness/oil on gearbox oil cooler pipes and PAS steering pipes giving the odd drip
Few marks scratches etc from green lanes but never heavily off roaded as its been my every day motor for over 4 years. I am always complemented on how good it looks for its age.
Drivers window needs a new regulator (new one supplied) It still works its just noisy so I have not fixed it.
Aircon and Cruise don’t work but are still there.
N/S electric mirror does not work
Head lining is a bit saggy in places
That’s about it!
Reason for selling just bought myself a late TD5
The first photo was taken earlier this year and shows how it polishes up, the other were taken yesterday when I was fishing.
Price I am after is £2000 as I think its well worth that. Though I am sure some will disagree with me. Vehicle is located in Maidstone Kent
