Hi all,
I am coming to the end of a lengthy engine transplant journey and have got to the dreaded electrics. I took out a 200tdi so I know they will be some differences. Also the existing wiring is a state with so many cut end and wires to nowhere I'm convinced it would be easier to start from scratch.
The main problem is the two 3pin connectors coming from the injector pump. We have worked out one is to do with the EGR or possibly throttle position and one the fuel cut off solenoid. Im under the impression the egr one can just be left as is, disconnected. The other needs 12v in but to which pin. and why is there three pins I'd have thought 12v in and earth would do it.
Can anyone shed any light on this. Seems we've been banging heads against hard things for a while now
