He's got a discovery? they dun't have centre seats  :D

If you need a throttle cable then it hasn't got EDC...EDCs are fly by wire...you would have an electrical wire, not a cable....Have a look at the fuel pump...If you can't tell take a pic and post it here and we will tell you

The only EDC cars I have come across are Automatics . I believe LR used the EDC system to increase the power to compensate for the losses in the Automatic Gear box .

My dad has a manual 1995 300TDi with EDC.

Me no doozel eggspurt, but that suggests to me one of two things...

1) It has had a replacement engine from an Auto with EDC.

or

2) It has had the injection system from one with EDC

I may also be wrong, but wasn't EDC 1996/1997 onwards???

I dunno mate. I was gonna buy his, but then i bought a different one. After messing with my fuel pump to tune it a little bit, i offered to do his. He has something attached to the fuel pump, a 3 pin connector, throttle position sensor. And he has a MAF sensor.

I have wires going to my air intake and fuel pump, but there is nothing there for them to connect to.

Odd i know. But it is what it is *shrugs*
