Hello All. I have a 300TDi Disco which is low on power. The EGR is blanked off by a previous owner. I have been told to change the mass air flow meter. The Disco will reach 70mph+ speeds but the power on acceleration is really bad. I have an amber warning light on the dash 'Check Engine' and the idle speed at stand still has risen to about 1250 rpm. If any member out there can offer any advice with these problems then I would be grateful. Thanks

Hi. No I have not checked the fuel filter. I will check it and let you know how I get on. Thanks

i had a problem with my 300 tdi auto when it hit 4th gear it struggled passed 2000 rpm in lower gears it was fine when it was on motorway it struggled also heating stopped working the other day, had a look at it today no coolant, checked oil no problem but i always thought it took a little longer to heat up i bleed the cooling system and heating now working just going to keep an eye on it for a while as coolant was low
