Hi all, New to the forum guys, can anybody help? When fitting a new gearbox what is the procedure for filling with oil, there are more than enough on servicing but I am unable to find tips on filling a new box. The book says it holds 9+lts I have added 8 and comes out of the breather pipe, (rebuilt the engine as well so double whammy ) should I drain down some of the oil then feed back slowly when I get the engine started?. Or do I crack the oil cooler pipes to bleed the system ? As it was a mammoth task with the engine and gearbox back in ( take the top off next time). The t/c is my main concern running dry so how is the t/converter bleed ?. Help needed
