I’m never going to get round to fixing it so my D1 is on eBay. Not going to end early as honestly I need it gone and I need the money for the next phase of getting the D2 to where I want it to be.

Happy browsing, if you want to know anything give me a shout.

Damm !!! For a minute I thought it was located in Argyll I was on my way to collect it.:D
Shame your miles away, good luck with the sale bud.;)

Ha, it’s a special edition, amongst the last of the 300tdi’s I believe. Thanks, I know everybody says it but I will be sad to see the old girl go, got all nostalgic when it fired up!

So, what happened pend to the front spoiler and it fog lamps that all Argyll’s were fitted with?

The five door Argyll was introduced in 1997 and based on the S model, as a limited addition there was only 600 were made. The last 1998MY models were all three door and not a limited addition and slotted between the base model and XS version... I saw then in the dealers yard when my disco was in for service.:)

Erm a dremel was the main culprit from memory! Took it off to gain some approach angle, kind of wish I hadn’t as in hindsight I didn’t really need it. Classic case of first time off road so I need everything the shops tell me I need to do it.

Ok, anyway u shouldn’t have any problem getting a good price for your disco as u have bids already.
it appears from the photos it’s just surface that the rust on top of the inner wing is just surface so a rub down, rust treatment and paint as necessary, the underneath is just a DIY replacement, then trace the point of the fluid leak and then fix, so the new owner should be Happy.

Sent from my iPad on a train.

Hasn’t realised a diy fix was possible to be honest. Would have done it myself ages ago if I had! It’s time for it to free up drive space either way. Quite surprised how much interest it’s had. Hopefully someone will be happy with it, as zone said in the ad I haven’t been under it for a while but the garages that it’s been to have all said how good it is compared to most.

Sold then, was it what u expected for it, do you think the new owner will be on LandyZone ?

:( At least she’d gone to a good home, looks like it’s starting a new life as a tow car while the buyer restores his 50th anniversary model. Genuinely nice guy, sad to see it go but really happy it’ll be back on the road soon.
