Evening all!
I have a question about roof rails: my recently acquired '95 300 es has standard roof rails, but the fore and aft rails are rather oxidised and I would like to swap them for the rails on my write-off.
Can anyone tell me how they are attached? It seems that there is a screw above the driver/pass seats that marries up at the front end, but I can find no easily accessible screw in the rear. Does it drop in and slide up, as it were? With only two securing points?
I would be awfully grateful for any advice, as always!
