Evening,

I asked some questions the other day about putting a 200 In a petrol. I've now decided its a lot easier to fit a 300 as I'll buy the fabricated engine mount so I don't need to cut the chassis. I have a few questions regarding this swap into my 2.5 petrol engine.

1. Will I have to change the fuel pick up as I obviously have a tank mounted fuel pump and the tdi has its own, or can I get away with letting the tank lift pump feed the engines lift pump?

2. Fitting the actual lt77 box to the 300 tdi. Is it a similar story as with a 200. Counter sink and drill something here and there or am I just better off bunging my 2.5 petrol flywheel and adaptor plate onto the tdi?

I think that's all for now.

Cheers,

Lloyd

you can just bolt it up with what studs line up ,theres more han enough but unless you alter cross member under flywheel housing you will need to cut mounting points for eng mounts where they meet flywheel housing off, remove pump in tank

Is that if I use my 2.5 petrols adaptor plate?

I have been reading through Landrover 110 engine page
