Is it me??
I have recently replaced the two brake calipers on the rear axle of my 98 Dico due to a fluid leak and a siezed piston. Before doing this I had a firm brake pedal with only a short amount of travel. I have bled the system myself, I have had a garage also bleed the system but the pedal now travels much further before engageing the brakes, the brakes stop me but there just seems to much travel and spongy ness before they engage. Is this normal? Can I do anything to get a firmer pedal?
I have recently blanked off the ems valve on the manifold and I can see a small vacum pipe which controls this is t'eed into the brake servo line, I carn't see any cracks in the other servo pipes, could this be anything to do with the problem? Any advice please TA
