i have a 1998 jap import Disco 300 Tdi Auto i do not have a chipped key or fob so it always locks on the key my problem is the central locking is not working and it will not start, it turns over all the windows radio etc work there is power to the pump solenoid (and i have taken it out and it works ok) but not to the electric thing on the side, i have check all the fuses and the one on the grey unit under the glove box, it will run on a bit of easy start so not mechanical but i am not getting fuel to the injectors, so any ideas even if i get it started and then work backwards
Thanks
ps it does not turn over in gear so not the park switch

Edc related maybe? Dreaded 4th injector issue?

Have you checked that it's getting diesel to the pump by loosing the union? If so, this might be a common problem and which I've yet to read of a solution. Most owners convert to a manual pump. I have bought a manual pump just in case I have this issue. I reckon if you had the right auto electrician, there has to be a solution. As mentioned, no 4 injector and it's wiring needs checked. These can be expensive to buy s/h on ebay but there should be breakers with one in stock. Maybe you could borrow one somewhere.

Remove the guts from the stop solenoid and try again.
Does the injection pump buzz with ignition on?

I'm no expert but I've never heard of anyone who can bypass the immobiliser, or even work on these pumps. In fact, is there an immobiliser on the Jap imports?
I wouldn't advise digging too deep on your pump, I did on an old pump and damaged a seal causing a diesel leak.

there is an immobilizer on the pump its worked from the ECM i have a contact in France who is sending me some parts from a disco he is cutting up, the ECM and the Alarm module are matched to themselves and not the pump so it should just plug and play with luck, will let you know

Interesting!
I too have a contact in France who sells me bits. He used to repair LRs too, but gave up through lack of trade. He only worked on Landies up to TD5.
Wondering if he is the same bloke.
Auto-essentiel is mine.;)
