does anyone know where you can get a template to cut the holes in the headlight backplate to fit 300 headlights in a 200 disco

top man you are muddee, i can do it from my mates missus but i know she will be hysterical when she sees me removing her headlights.

Simmonites sell a kit to convert the headlights and grille on a 200 to those for a 300tdi

Hi Yella,

whats the benefit of the 300 lights over the standard 200 items? Just thinking on, as I am in france, technically my lights are the wrong way round. Is it possible to swap left to right, before I go at it with the screw driver,

At a guess I don't hink they will be correct if you swap them. They work as a pair to angle the light to the left for us and to the right for you. If you swap them you are not actualy changing the angle of the beams as they will still be biased to the left. You will need to get hold of a set whigh are sold for the french market.

Yella, I was going to ask the question at some stage about upgrading the lights. What is the difference interms of fit, you talk about having to cut holes?

you need to cut holes for the beam adjusters and fixings. you need a template from a 300 to make them fit

madfrog, 200tdi headlights are the same as a ldv(sherpa van) don't know if this will make it easier to get lhd ones.
