hi guys
just bought a tyre machine for me n lads to use n got it home n its 3 phase
anybody local to me in leeds can rewire motor to single

OR anybody selling a converter or motor to swap

can the motor be rewired, should have info on tag. Or just buy a new motor of the right size. Really you need to look at the specs of the tag on the motor

not right clued up with electric motors mate
its a 0.55kw 0.75hp on tag

Have had motors on tag say in the info plate PH1/3 meaning some can run on either single phase or 3 phase

just googled that question and it seems do-able but you need to know what your doing or get sparky to do it. vids of how to on u tube

Have converted compressor set ups by fitting single phase motors but 3 phase have loads more start up torque, so even a motor of the same rating may struggle, definitely worth some eggspurt help or advice, but should be doable

oh good i sure hope so just dont wanna burn my fingers having a go myself
i,ll have another look on tag for ph1/3

cost to much haha single phase motors 3 times as much as 3 phase
borrowed a converter till i find 1
