Hello Everyone, New Member here with some trouble on my little green devil.
Its a 2003 LR Freelander 1 L314 TD4 Diesel.
Most work done before the winter, and after one week of stand still the dash doesn't work anymore.

Checked>
Fuses (all O.K.)
ABS Sensors (working, with snow the ABS kicks in)
*also shown in the Computer that they are working and showing the speed on all 4 tyres. no dropouts.
New gauge cluster, still not working (Same error)

bought>
New speed sensor (can't find that bloody thing at all)
New brake switch.
New Battery 12V 85A 800Ah

OBD checked, ABS works as it should be.
Correct me if i'm wrong but should the speedometer, RPM and temprature still work even if the ABS is shot?

Could it be grounding related? and what if the earth grounding is broken, could that be the cause of the problems that my landy has now?
if what is the wirring color of the earth grounding on the instrument cluster (have 2 plugs on the back)

the troublecodes are all CAN related.

Changed the Battery for the new one,
Changed the Brakeswitch.
still no diffrence.

ABS/TC/HDC (Brake light red) still up. no speedo, RPM, and temprature at all.

ABS works, got a scanner that reads the LR F1 great.
ABS all four are working as they should.
Readings are all the same on all four of them. so no strange dropouts.
ABS also working, tested with the snow we had. Works like a charm

Looks like your dash has lost its network connection.

If you don't get any suggestions on here, it may be time to call in the auto electrician.
